TRQD Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to TRQD (“the Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing, registering with, or using TRQD, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
1.1 About TRQD
TRQD is an independent community platform created and run by a Formula 1 fan for fellow Formula 1 fans.
While we aim to provide a safe, friendly and enjoyable community, TRQD is not operated by a large company or dedicated moderation team. Reports, enquiries and support requests are reviewed as quickly as reasonably possible, however responses may not always be immediate.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to develop and improve the Platform.
2. Eligibility
TRQD is strictly intended for individuals aged 18 years or over.
By creating an account, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- The information you provide is accurate and truthful.
- You are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently remove accounts suspected of belonging to individuals under 18 years of age.
3. Community Standards
TRQD is designed to be a welcoming and respectful community for motorsport fans.
The following behaviour is strictly prohibited:
Bullying or harassment
Hate speech
Racism
Sexism
Homophobia
Transphobia
Religious discrimination
Threats or intimidation
Stalking
Impersonation of another person
Sharing personal information without consent
Spam or unsolicited advertising
Illegal activity
Distribution of malicious software
Posting obscene, offensive or unlawful content
We reserve the right to remove content, suspend accounts or permanently ban users without notice where we believe these standards have been breached.
4. User Generated Content
Users remain responsible for any content they post on TRQD, including:
Messages
Chatroom posts
Profile information
Images
Comments
Private messages
You agree that:
Your content will not infringe any third-party rights.
Your content will not breach UK law.
You grant TRQD a non-exclusive licence to display and store content necessary to operate the Platform.
TRQD is not responsible for content posted by users.
5. Private Messaging and Chatrooms
TRQD provides public chatrooms, team-specific chatrooms and private messaging features.
We do not guarantee:
Message delivery
Continuous availability
Data retention
Private messages may be reviewed where necessary for moderation, safeguarding, legal compliance or the investigation of reported misconduct.
6. Reporting and Moderation
Users may report content or behaviour they believe breaches these Terms.
TRQD reserves the right to:
Review reports
Remove content
Suspend users
Permanently ban users
Restrict access to features
Cooperate with law enforcement authorities where required
We aim to review reports and moderation requests as soon as reasonably possible.
While we take user safety seriously, TRQD is independently operated and reports may not always be reviewed immediately. Users should not rely on the Platform for emergency assistance or urgent safeguarding matters.
Deliberately submitting false, malicious or abusive reports may itself result in moderation action against the reporting account.
7. User Safety
Users interact with each other at their own risk.
TRQD does not verify:
User identities
User backgrounds
User qualifications
User intentions
If users choose to communicate outside the Platform or meet in person, they do so entirely at their own risk.
TRQD accepts no liability for interactions between members.
8. TRQD Pro Membership
TRQD Pro is an optional paid subscription service.
Benefits may include:
Private messaging
Private chatrooms
Additional community features
Features may change over time.
9. Subscription Payments
Paddock Pass is an optional subscription that renews automatically every 30 days unless cancelled.
By purchasing a subscription you authorise recurring payments every 30 days using your chosen payment method.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account or payment provider. Cancellation prevents future renewal payments but does not end your current subscription immediately.
Your Paddock Pass benefits will remain available until the end of your current 30-day billing period.
10. Refund Policy
Subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
Cancelling your subscription or deleting your TRQD account during an active billing period does not entitle you to a full or partial refund for that billing period.
Once a subscription payment has been successfully processed, access to Paddock Pass features will remain available until the end of the paid 30-day subscription period.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
11. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts if:
These Terms are breached.
Illegal activity is suspected.
User behaviour threatens the safety of the community.
Payment disputes or fraudulent activity occur.
No compensation shall be payable for suspended or terminated accounts.
12. Intellectual Property
The TRQD name, branding, logos, design, software and content are owned by TRQD or its licensors.
Users may not:
Copy
Modify
Distribute
Resell
Reverse engineer
any part of the Platform without permission.
13. Availability of Service
We aim to keep TRQD available at all times.
However, we do not guarantee:
Continuous availability
Error-free operation
Uninterrupted access
The Platform may be modified, suspended or withdrawn at any time.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TRQD shall not be liable for:
User-generated content
Loss of data
Loss of profits
Business interruption
Personal disputes between users
Actions taken by users on or off the Platform
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.
15. Privacy
Use of TRQD is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and processing of information as described in those policies.
16. Platform Development
TRQD is an evolving platform and new features, improvements, design changes and functionality may be introduced, modified or removed over time.
While we always aim to improve the experience for our community, we cannot guarantee that any specific feature will remain permanently available.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of TRQD after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
